The polls
Judging from the graph, a lot of students have no clue what the
2010 election was about. Since we poll both honors and regular
kids equally, there are not a lot honors kids that knew about it as
well. According to the graph on question 2, more than half the
students did not watch the obama speech. They either do not care
about the speech about an issue that is impacting their lives or
their parents do not like Obama. For those who did watch it,
it was almost even on those who liked it and those who disliked it.
It's ironic that the people who did not watch the speech did not care
for the issue of education yet more than 60 percent of the school
wanted to raise funding for education. It was pretty universal that
many students want to go to a higher education after high school.
Now many people are not informed in who the superintendent of
education in DVUSD. Many people chose Horne or Dr McElyea
because they know McCain and Obama are not the superintendent.

To Achieve Randomness
To have a randomize poll, we had to poll people we do not know.
This helps because we would receive an unknown outcome. If we
pick people we know to answer the poll, it would not be random
because we know the person and what they are going to pick .
The poll would not have been accurate. We tried to poll individuals
rather than groups of people. People would listen to their peers and
agree with them on every answer. We tried to to keep an even
amount of girls, boys, and class from 9th graders to 12th graders.

Error?
Our poll was not perfect. When we were polling students, we tend
to find more kids who were in an honors class than a regular  class.
Since most kids in an honors class are liberal, we had to keep polling
people will we have more regular class students. We had many errors
coming out of question 5. The first error was that we had Obama and
McCain as options. There could be students that are choosing them
as a joke to their friends. The second problem is the wording of the
question. Many students did not know if we were asking for the
superintendent of DVUSD or Arizona. Another problem with our
poll is that some members of our group accidentally gave the
students the questions with the answer on them. This could change
people's mind on some of the answers such as question 1.
